The RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens is the world's first lens for digital interchangeable lens cameras enabling 180? VR shooting in one camera to a single sensor. When the lens is attached to the EOS R5 with an additional firmware update, it will offer up to 8K video and 45MP images on a full frame sensor.

High-efficiency VR image recording

The RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens allows for the creation of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality media. As the lens captures a wider field of view from 2 separate angles, a 3D image can be created.

Capture 8K 3D VR on the EOS R5

Together with the compatible EOS R5, the RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens will capture a 3D stereoscopic image, perfect for use with head-mounted Virtual Reality goggles that cover the entire field of vision to create an immersive experience within the scene.

Excellent in low light

With the large f/2.8 aperture, the RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens is excellent for shooting in low light locations, which will work in conjunction with its high quality L series build, ensuring a sharp and vivid image.

Along with the Canon RF 5.2mm f/2.8L Dual Fisheye lens, Canon's EOS VR System also includes a newly developed Canon VR Utility application and a VR Plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro, to streamline the 180? VR post-production process, enhancing content creators' experience from input to output.
